Andrew Demetriou is the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Football League. As CEO of the AFL Players Association, Andrew was instrumental in establishing programs to look after players during their careers and after their retirement. Andrew was responsible for the implementation of the AFL Players' Association Retirement Fund, the Player Welfare Fund, and the Education and Training Fund, among other programs. At the AFLPA, Andrew was responsible for the management of over $25 million of player funds. Andrew also negotiated on behalf of the AFL Players a landmark five year Collective Bargaining Agreement.
